Questions that come to mind are: 1 The fact that the location is so remote does bother me somewhat.

DesV Posted July 30, Hi Andre I have been to Roxby for a brief visit to Olympic Dam, it is a reasonable town self contained.
I have met a few people who have lived there and one person who has moved back there and they all give glowing reports about the town Often places like Roxby in SA and Kalgoorlie in WA are the best places to move to for new immagrants from the point of view that people are far more friendly and accomodating, even the Aussies there often dont have extended families, just great places to live.
Dont worry it will be worth it and you will find it easier to settle and adapt than in a city. There are a number of South Africans living there Best of Luck.
