No support or training on day to day duties. Expected to work early am shift to midnight and ALL weekends. Work days a week and no boundaries for hourly employees. The management at Lifetime fitness is not very organized- i felt that if I had a situation come up I could not go talk to my bosses because they did not seem to care.

No personality. Very judgemental atmosphere. Unprofessional attitudes. Although offering different amenities, you have to pay for everything you want extra on top of the membership itself.
Management in some departments are not friendly, inviting or respectful. Employees are treated poorly, with no raise incentives, poor benefits. The job description does not match the title, expect to do more then what you agreed to when applying.

A typical day at work would be coming into work 15 mins before my shift starts to open the salon making sure everything is cleaned and organized, looking at the computer for emails as well as the phone line to see if any cancellations or quests were made. I loved working in operations. The manager for that department is amazing and so understanding when life happens, she does her best to be accommodating when needed.
Pros discounts on everything in the building, free membership, discounted memberships for spouses and family. Cons short breaks for eating. It was a great place for a fun first job where I could work with people my age and have a good time learning the ropes of a working environment.
