How many bikinis do you have

Well, there you go— 3 swimsuits maximum. Three is a perfect number to account for unexpected situations like what if it drizzles in the patio or what if the elastic of my bikini gave up on me while still fitting everything in a carry-on. If you hate unwashed swimsuits but still want to pack light, you only need one additional item:. But if that grosses you out big time, you can always do a little washing right after swimming.

I know, I know. Besides, it only takes 5 minutes to wash and another 30 to dry in the balcony through the summer breeze. Rectangle and apple ladies could wear a simple top paired with string bikini bottoms to add volume to their hips and enhance their curves. Hourglass the lucky devils can mix and match anything they like. Most women bring 10 pairs of swimsuits for their vacation only to end up wearing 5. Allie — ah, a honeymoon is another great excuse to buy swimwear…haha!

I just was curious how many the average person has! It seems to be somewhere between or so! I probably have at least 20 that I have accumulated over the years.

I think it is completely normal living in Florida. In fact when I was in Gainesville my roommate only had 1 meanwhile I had a different one for everything we did. The more swimsuits the merrier! Sadly, I only have two or three suits. I live in L. So, I agree with Brittney. Living in Milwaukee, some of the only use I get out of swimsuits is when we are on vacation. That said, I did a quick mental tally and I have 5. I think I have eight or so…and some of them have only gotten one or two wears in.

I only seem to sport them when on vacay. I understand you live in Florida, but 27? I guess it makes sense since you seem to love fashion. Besides, I run out of room for new clothes anyway. I live in Maryland, 3 hours from the beach and I go to the beach probably once a year and the pool a dozen times or so. I have 5 bathing suits and one that fits well that I usually wear.

Debbie — thanks so much for your comment! I have three—a cute one piece, a bikini, and a sporty one-piece for doing actually swim workouts. That being said, I live in Wisconsin and you live in Florida, so automatically I think you are entitled to more! I have 3 bikinis currently. At most, I get one per year at an end of season clearance.

I think I have about but when you wear them everyday which I did then you really need more than that. Mine would fade so quickly from the sun!! They have cover-ups to match and body chains to accessorize. And what did I have? Again, just two bikinis. I first found what color bikini works well with my skin tone when I was 14 and I've stuck to it ever since anything in the neon-orangey-pink family. Shape-wise, triangle tops and simple string bottoms are the most comfortable.

I thought once you figured out those two things, you are pretty much set. Apparently, I was not set.

Over the course of the past year, I've made purchases in an effort to expand my bikini wardrobe. Purchases include but are not limited to : a blue paisley triangle top and matching string bottom; pink, strappy push-up monstrosity from Victoria's Secret; palm-print triangle top with matching string bottom; white triangle top with hot pink string bottom.

What I'm saying is that for me, the bathing suit wardrobe is bullshit. What's the point of a swimsuit if you can't actually swim in it?
